I’m right, aren’t I?

— It’s a nasty day today, isn’t it?

— Yes, it is. But it might change for the better in the afternoon, —

— I hope you didn’t forget to take your umbrella, did you?

— No, I didn’t. I always carry it in my bag…

The National Picture Gallery.

Jane is keen on jazz music, isn’t she?

Jane — she

Ответ даем краткий: Yes, she is (если вы согласны с утверждением) или No, she isn’t (если вы не согласны с утверждением).

  • Jane often listens to jazz music, doesn’t she? Yes, she does. / No, she doesn’t. (Present Simple)
  • Jane listened to jazz music yesterday, didn’t she? Yes, she did. / No, she didn’t. (Past Simple)

Если в первой части разделительного вопроса сказуемое стоит в утвердительной форме в Present Simple Tense или Past Simle Tense, то есть в его составе отсутствует вспомогательный глагол, то в «хвостике» обязательно появится один из этих помощников do/does/did

  • Jane has listened to jazz music today, hasn’t she? (Present Perfect) Yes, she has. / No, she hasn’t.
  • I am sure, Jane will listen to jazz music tomorrow, won’t she? (Future Simple) (will not = won’t, формы willn’t  не существует!) Yes, she will. / No, she won’t.
  • I can listen to jazz music with you, Jane, can’t I?  — Of course, you can. You can

Can I play Rocket League on my computer?

Rocket League PC Specs — Can You Run Rocket League Recommended Requirements?

By Cliff Henjum July 17, 2019

What a play!Wow! Wow! Wow! Chat disabled for 3 seconds…These are just some of the most common quick-chat options that players love to spam in the ever-so popular game, Rocket League. Psyonix, Inc. originally launched the high-octane vehicular soccer game on July 7, 2015, and it was an instant hit on PC! It falls under the category of “easy-to-learn, difficult-to-master” games with an insanely high skill cap that feels similar to popular MOBAs like DOTA 2 or RTSs like StarCraft 2. Rocket League is the spiritual sequel to Psyonix’s first major game, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, which sadly did not receive the greatest of reviews during its time on PS3. The success it saw on PC quickly led to Psyonix porting the multiplayer hit to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch and even offers cross-platform play. But you’re here to find out if your computer can run Rocket League so let’s take a look at those system requirements.

It’s important to look at the minimum system requirements if you are unsure if your PC can run Rocket League. Fortunately for PC players, the minimum specifications for Rocket League are actually on the lower side compared to other popular multiplayer games like PUBG and FIFA 19. That’s one of the benefits of an older game still remaining popular — the game’s requirements remain the same while new hardware comes out allowing the PC population to have better computers on average.

Specifically, Psyonix wants your video card to be at least a GeForce GTX 260 or Radeon HD 4850. Both of these cards are about 11 years old and will still run over 70% of the games on the PC market so you’d be in a good spot if your rig had one of those models. The CPU requirements are pretty basic — only a 2.4 GHz Dual-Core is needed (something like a Core 2 Duo or Athlon 64 X2). Passing these minimum specifications should enable your computer to run Rocket League with a steady FPS on at least Low graphics settings. Playing with split-screen enabled may add additional strain to your system so it’s best if your PC passes the recommended requirements at that point.

Passing the recommended system requirements of Rocket League should ensure a great experience while playing it on any Graphics setting, with or without enabling split-screen to play with your buddies. The recommended specs are actually fairly similar to another sports game’s minimum requirements, FIFA 20. Specifically, your PC needs at least a GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7950 in the GPU slot. The GeForce GTX 660 is one of the more popular cards on the market, despite it being seven years old. It will even run 90% of PC games and it passes the recommended requirement for over two thirds of them. While there isn’t a specific CPU requirement, Psyonix asks that you have at least a 2.5 GHz Quad Core in order to play Rocket League with a smooth frame rate.

Is your Mac good for gaming?

These results are great to have but they’re only part of the answer. In order to effectively figure out what games your Mac can run, you should:

1. Download Valley and perform this same test (we explain the entire process in detail here).

➜ That result will be your reference point.

2. Look for the game you want to play from our section.

3. From the machines used to test that game, pick the one that resembles your Mac the most.

➜ Use the results from that machine as a comparison point.

As an example, we’ve used the same 2013 13-inch MacBook Pro and 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro for every one of our Mac Performance Reviews. This is how they run some of the most popular Mac games right now:

Game 2013 13-inch MacBook Pro 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro Difference
Valley benchmark 9.3 FPS 30 FPS +222%
Fortnite 23.4 FPS 47.1 FPS +101%
Rise of the Tomb Raider 0 FPS 16.5 FPS
DiRT Rally 38.5 FPS 53.9 FPS +40%

Armed with a Valley result of your own, you can have a more accurate idea of what performance to expect from these games.

For example, if your Valley result is 45 FPS, you can expect significantly better performance than our 2016 MBP (which scored 30 FPS). If your Valley result is 20 FPS, you can expect gaming performance somewhere between our two MBPs above.

Do keep in mind that the correlation between Valley and games is not linear and will differ from game to game. This method should only be used to give you an educated guess of what to expect from games.

Do you meet or exceed the game’s system requirements? – How it works

This site provides a One-Click solution that looks at your computer’s hardware and
system software to determine whether or not your current system can run a product.
Each of your computer’s components is evaluated to see how well it meets the minimum
and recommended requirements for specific products. Recommendations are made on
how to update or upgrade each component which does not meet the listed requirements.
Sometimes, a simple, free software download is all that is needed. Sometimes you’ll
find that you need a different video card to fully experience what the game has
to offer.

Can my PC run Call of Duty: Warzone?

Updated: March 25, 2020 by JT Hussey

Fortnite has finally found its killer in Call of Duty:Warzone. Since its launch, Warzone has been an overwhelming success with millions of players going at each other in this epic new battle royale. Warzone isn’t done yet though, publishers have planed on adding new maps, weapons, and modes to the game. As such, the addition of new content may test your PC so meeting the minimum and recommended graphical requirements is necessary now more than ever.

By Cliff Henjum   March 9, 2020

Once again, Call of Duty has jumped back into the Battle Royale world with its brand new (semi-) standalone game, Warzone. Warzone is a Free-to-Play Battle Royale that supports cross play and up to 150 players on the map which features a lot of portions of past Call of Duty maps. There is also a new twist on an older mechanic from the BR genre. Everybody hates dying early in Battle Royales while your teammates play on, so games like Apex Legends introduced the revive mechanic to separate themselves from the genre giants like PUBG. In Warzone, players who have been killed who have teammates still alive will be transported to the Gulag — a small arena where players will be pit against each other in fast 1v1 battles for a chance to respawn in the game. With the Free-to-Play price tag, and ability to play with friends on console, Call of Duty: Warzone is launching with a huge influx of PC players wondering if their PC can run it. If you have already been playing Modern Warfare on PC, you’ll be good to go with another 20-25 GB of hard drive space. If you’re checking out Modern Warfare/Warzone for the first time, you’ll need a computer that passes at least the minimum system requirements test.

Fun fact: the minimum system requirements for Warzone are the same as the minimum system requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare! In order to drop into the war zone with graphics settings set to Low, players will need hardware that is at least as powerful as the following. In your video card slot, your computer should have at least a GeForce GTX 670 or a Radeon HD 7950. In addition to your GPU, your CPU needs to be at or above an Intel Core i3-4340 or an AMD FX-6300. You will also need 8 GB of system RAM to enable your PC to run Warzone with passable FPS. If you want to drop into the fray of battle with your graphics settings maxed out, you will want a PC that also passes the recommended system requirements test.

Method 2: Use A ‘Can I Run It’ Tool

If you’re willing to download a tool to check and see if your computer can run a specific game, System Requirements Lab’s ‘Can You Run It Tool’ can help you quickly check and see if your system can run that game.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to the Can You Run it Tool
  2. Enter the game you want to check
  3. Hit ‘Can You Run It’
  4. On the next page, hit ‘Can You Run It’ again
  5. Install the Detection app so that the tool can check your hardware
  6. Once installed, the tool will update and tell you whether or not you can run the game

Once you have the Detection app installed, you’ll also be able to check and see if your system can run other games and you won’t have to redownload the tool every time.

How Accurate Are These Tools?

If the ‘Can I Run It’ tool says that you can run the game, then you can probably run it. If the tool says you can’t run the game, that may not necessarily be true. Again, the tool is just cross-checking your system’s hardware with the game’s minimum/recommended specifications. And, sometimes the game developers error on the side of caution with their minimum requirements.

So, while the ‘Can I Run It’ tool is a nice option to quickly check whether or not you can play a game, if it says you can’t run that game, you’re not completely out of luck. You’ll want to check user benchmarks first. And, we’ll describe how to do that in the method listed below.

First Things First, Check Your PC’s Specs

Before you can tell whether or not your computer or laptop meets the requirements of a game like Fortnite or Apex Legends, you first need to know what kind of hardware is inside of your system.

The main components inside your computer that will determine what games it can and cannot play are your processor and your GPU. After that, the next most important components of your system are the amount of RAM you have and the storage space you have available.

We have a detailed guide on how to find your PC’s specs that will help you figure out the components inside of your system, but here’s a quick rundown  of how to find those four components quickly:

Your Processor & Memory

  1. Right-click on the Windows start menu icon
  2. Click on ‘System’
  3. Under ‘Device specifications’ you’ll see your processor and how much RAM your computer has

Your GPU

  1. Right-click on the Windows start menu icon
  2. Click on ‘Device Manager’
  3. Click on the arrow next to ‘Display Adapters’
  4. Your GPU will be listed there

Storage Space Available

  1. Type ‘File Explorer’ into the Windows search box and hit enter
  2. Click on ‘This PC’ on the left sidebar of the File Explorer
  3. Under ‘Devices and drives, you’ll see a list of storage devices you have as well as how much space they have available

Now that you know what kind of hardware is inside your system, you’ll be able to use the methods below to tell what games your computer can run.

Method 1: Check The Game’s System Requirements

Most PC games list a set of hardware requirements that must be met in order to run the game properly. So, if you have a specific game in question, you can simply search for ‘ system requirements‘ (without the quotes and brackets) and the game’s website should show up in the results and that page will tell you what the requirements to run the game are.

If the game in question is available on Steam, you can also go to the game’s listing in the Steam store and that will  have the requirements listed as well.

Here’s what Rainbow Six Siege’s system requirements look like. Both the minimum and recommended requirements are listed.

Most games list both the bare minimum hardware requirements and the reccomended requirements to run the game. So, now that you know what hardware is in your PC and you have the game’s system requirements at hand, all you have to do is compare your hardware to the hardware requirements listed.

  • If your hardware is similar or better to the minimum requirements, then you can probably play the game on lower settings.
  • If your hardware is similar or better to the recommended requirements, then you can probably play the game on medium or higher settings.

How Can I Tell if My Hardware is Better than the Listed System Requirements?

It will be easy to tell whether or not your memory and available storage will meet the requirements of the game in question, but it is not always clear if your CPU and GPU are better or worse than the listed requirements.

Of course, if you’re up-to-date on the latest in PC hardware, you’ll probably have a good idea of how the different CPUs and GPUs rank in terms of performance.

If you’re not up-to-date, you can find out quickly whether or not your CPU and GPU are better or worse than the options listed in the game’s system requirements.

Does Your CPU Meet the Game’s System Requirements?

  1. Go to UserBenchmark’s CPU compare tool
  2. Choose your processor in the first drop-down
  3. Choose the minimum or recommended CPU listed in the game’s system requirements
  4. Once you’ve selected the two CPUs to compare, the number in the ‘Avg. Gaming Bench’ row will let you know which CPU is superior (and give an estimate by how much)

Does Your GPU Meet the Game’s System Requirements?

  1. Go to UserBenchmark’s GPU compare tool
  2. Choose your GPU in the first drop-down
  3. Choose the minimum or recommended GPU listed in the game’s system requirements
  4. Once you’ve selected the two GPUs to compare, the number in the ‘Avg. Gaming Bench’ row will let you know which GPU is superior (and give an estimate by how much)

While this method won’t give you a perfect idea of how your system will perform running a specific game, it will at least help you quickly check and see whether or not your computer will come close to meeting the minimum/recommended system requirements.

My System Doesn’t Meet the Minimum Requirements? Is All Lost?

If your computer doesn’t meet the minimum requirements, you still might be able to play the game. When the Oculus Rift first came out, I had an Intel Core i5-3570K processor, which was below the Rift’s system requirements at the time. The headset even warned me that the CPU didn’t meet the requirements.

However, the CPU was plenty powerful enough to run the headset and I had no problems running VR games with it.

This isn’t always the case, but if your hardware comes close to the minimum requirements, you still might be able to play the game. The best way to check if that is true for you is to check benchmarks from others who have a similar hardware set as you. We discuss how to do that in Method 3 listed below.

But, first, let’s discuss how to use the ‘Can I Run It’ tools out there.

Method #1 – Using System Requirements Lab

Can You Run It by SystemRequirementsLab provides a very easy way to test your system against any PC Game. Visit the website and enter your desired game in its input field. Now, click the Can You Run It button.

If it’s your first time to the site, CYRI will ask you to install a small software in your PC after you click the button. Install it without closing this tab. Now, when the CYRI software is installed in your system, Can You Run It by SystemRequirementsLab will show an easy to understand report comparing system requirements of the selected game against your system specification which is fetched using the software you just installed.

The report tells you if your PC is passed for minimum or recommended settings and what components are passed and what fails. CYRI report tell exactly what your system lacks and what to do in order to make it compatible. It also suggests the link to latest audio, video, display drivers if they are outdated so that you can instantly update them without going anywhere else.

Now, you can check unlimited games without installing any additional app anytime on this site to know whether you can run it on your system or not. If you don’t want to install CYRI software (which I recommend to install) then also you can know the system requirements of any PC Game but you won’t be able to test it against your PC and get the comprehensive report that Can You Run It by SystemRequirementsLab provided above.

Know your Computer Hardware Components

The prerequisite for finding out whether your PC can run this game is to know your PC Hardware details that include the following main components:

Graphics Card – Know your Graphics card model, company and amount & type of memory on it.

Processor – You have to know your Processor company, model and speed / frequency.

Memory – Memory Type i.e. DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4 and its frequency.

Hard Disk – Find out how much Hard Disk space you have.

Operating System – OS is not a hardware feature but it is very important to know what version of Windows Operating System you have installed in your Computer and whether it is a 32-bit or 64-bit OS.

You can find out your PC specifications by using some good System Information tools that are being mentioned below:

Can my computer run Metro Exodus?

4A Games’ next big title to release is Metro Exodus, and is scheduled to hit stores on February 22, 2019. This third installment in the Metro series picks up two years after where Metro: Last Light ended and its story will spawn the course of an entire year. Begin your journey through the nuclear wasteland by hopping aboard the Aurora — a heavily modded train that is chartered to take the remaining survivors east. Anna makes her return from the previous game as well, and she is now Artyom’s wife. You can expect the same classic horror FPS mixed with survival and stealth elements, but Metro Exodus’ overall gameplay drifts from purely linear levels to that of a hybrid sandbox game that still has linear driving forces.

This new found freedom extends to the weapon customization options that you will find throughout your adventure across Russia’s landscape. Hostile humans won’t be the only obstacle on your path to salvation — the nuclear radiation’s impact on the wildlife has caused adverse mutations. Extreme weather effects will not only impact your progress across the continent, but the inclusion of more complex weather systems will surely raise the system requirements for the game when compared to its 2013 predecessor.

4A Games is using the same engine that they used to make Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, but almost six years will have passed by the time Exodus releases so it’s fair to assume that the system requirements will still be on the higher side when looking back. Not only have the developers added more complex weather systems, the transition from purely linear levels to a more open-ended map design will surely add to a sizable increase in hardware needed to run. As of now, there are no official system requirements for Metro Exodus, but it can be helpful to look at other franchises that have released games around similar times so we took a closer look at Battlefield 4 and Battlefield V. Because of this, we predict that the minimum requirements will be similar to the recommended requirements of Metro: Last Light. For the recommended requirements, we believe that they will fall somewhere in between other popular triple A titles that released in Q4 2018 or Q1 2019, such as Just Cause 4 or Fallout 76.
